Meet Our Team Member, Sandy
MB Roland Distillery would like to introduce our team members, the folks responsible for the continued success of what we do here.
Meet Sandy, who started at MB Roland Distillery 8 years ago in August 2013.
Before joining the team, she spent her time raising her three amazing daughters. Sandy’s first position with MBR included learning how to do everything from tours to the gift shop, to bottling, to landscaping, and so on.
Here are some additional Q and A’s to get to know Sandy!
Q: What’s the best part of your job?
- A: The owners and my co-workers, so basically my entire work family.
- I also really enjoy bottling. The batch number, alc/vol, and proof on each label are handwritten mostly by me. I also do some of the labeling and neckbands, so “bottling day” is a pretty special day for me.
Q: Do you have a favorite cocktail made from MBR products?
- A: Anything that includes our blackberry shine. You should try the blackberry shine with cream soda. Delicious!
Q: Do you have a favorite pet at MBR?
- A: The best dog in the world, Wolfgang (aka Woo Woo).
Sandy went on to say her favorite part about MB Roland Distillery is, “Our great hospitality. We really do try and make everyone’s MB Roland experience a fun one. I enjoy telling people about the process of making bourbon, whiskey, and moonshine and then letting them taste the products.”
