Old 2nd District is a tribute to a style of Bourbon lost to history. Before Prohibition, the copious amount of distilleries in the Commonwealth led to the creation of eight Kentucky tax districts. The 2nd District represented Western Kentucky, including Christian County. At MB Roland Distillery we follow the Pre-Prohibition method in every step of our production, from locally sourced grains and pot distillation down to barrels charred over natural white oak fires.
